I have a collection of canes collected indiscriminately where ever I was traveling. Recently I have been reviewing my collection and I have one cane possibly ivory or bone which is inscribed with what looks like Arabic with drawings of scorpions and serpents. I have asked a few experts and no one has seen one like it. Can anyone throw any light on the attached photos of the cane. I will send the photos to canes@gadgetcanes.com Update: My post re bone walking stick. I finally discovered it is a skeletal bone stick inscribed in the Batak language by tribal people of Borneo. I purchased it in Sumatre so it fits. I found exact replica of the inscriptions so I have no doubt Must take hours of work

I’m not good on the computer just learning how to find info…….I have a cane that comes apart with a long sword inside my husband says it has india printed on one side of the blade and looks to be the number 53 on the other side….carved wood design with maybe a bone looking section….HE FOUND IT IN A MOTORHOME SOMEONE GAVE HIM FOR FREE,would like to know what it might be worth,I have other canes I’ve collected that are just wood,bone carvings,bully stick etc.but didnt know they made canes with swords inside….

i have a cane that was my grandfathers it says the baytrill collection on it and has a silver or nickel eagle heead on it i was told it was very old can you tell me the value

Here are some antique canes I have, I'm selling my collection and would like more information about the canes if you can help, and willing to entertain offers. This cane has a Indian killing a seal with a snake an looks to be a alligator or lizard would like to know more. I think it’s a couple of 100 yrs old any information would be thankful. This cane is made of one piece of wood an has early marks on it. This cane is made out of several pieces of horn an is at least 175 yrs old. I would like any info thank you.

I have an antique cane that feels heavy and looks like gold. I'm not sure. The cane is inscribed with the name. JOHN C. LACY. DRYDEN NY. Also has a set of dates Oct 21st 1808 - Oct 21st 1888. Pictures are shown above. Please let me know. Thanks.

I have a cane. That feels havey looks like the handal is made of gold I’m not sure. The cane is inscribed with the name. JOHN C. LACY. DRYDEN. NY.With a set of dates Oct 21st 1808- Oct 21st 1888. Anyone know anything please let me know. Thanks
