HI Candy,

Send the pics of your antique canes to canes@gadgetcanes.com along with a detailed written description - if you don't know, tell us where you picked it up, what you think they might be, etc... Once I have the pictures I'll get them up on the site so others can offer their help.

<a href="http://www.gadgetcanes.com/wp-content/uploads/ivory-cane-by-ron.jpg" rel="nofollow"><img class="alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-163" style="border: 1px solid black; margin: 5px;" title="ivory cane by ron" src="http://www.gadgetcanes.com/wp-content/uploads/ivory-cane-by-ron-150x150.jpg" alt="ivory cane by ron" width="150" height="150" /></a>I have a collection of canes collected indiscriminately where ever I was traveling. Recently I have been reviewing my collection and I have one cane possibly ivory or bone which is inscribed with what looks like Arabic with drawings of scorpions and serpents. I have asked a few experts and no one has seen one like it. Can anyone throw any light on the attached photos of the cane. I will send the photos to canes@gadgetcanes.com

Update: My post re bone walking stick. I finally discovered it is a skeletal bone stick inscribed in the Batak language by tribal people of Borneo. I purchased it in Sumatre so it fits. I found exact replica of the inscriptions so I have no doubt Must take hours of work

I do not know the maker but it has IRS 4241 stamped on the back of the handle. it is chambered in 45 longcolt and .410 shotgun. i would be interested in selling.

I have enclose pics and maybe you can help me identify it. i would appreciate any help that can be offered.

Thanks, Harold

Unless they request I place their email on this comment, it is excluded - including it is a sure way to get spammed (bots crawl sites all the time looking for email addresses). If it's not included, when the interested part requests contact, the system will email them the other person contact information and leave it up to them to contact or not.

In your case, you wanted you email placed on the comment, which is fine.
